BRIEF HISTORY

St Austell Netball Club is one of the longest established netball clubs in Cornwall. In nearly 40 years of playing the club has had great successes both in League wins and in developing talented players and coaches.

It is a Gold Caps club; an accolade England Netball has awarded it for its achievements in good practice and forward thinking development plans. It is the only Cornish club to achieve this Gold standard so far.

The club changed venues 3 years ago to take advantage of the brand new facility at Truro College. The college is a Regional Talent and Performance Centre for Netball where the most talented of the County’s young netball players receive top level coaching. The move has proven to be a successful one as the club now attracts players from a wider area and has grown in numbers.

St Austell Netball Club is committed to quality training and giving each player the opportunity for a quality Netball experience. There are 5 senior teams, which cater for players aged 14 to veteran.
