ENGLAND SELECTION

Lottie Richardson and Amelia Grigg have been selected for England U17 long squad Lottie GA/WA was in the squad last year and knows what a high standard it is.

Amelia was amazed to be selected but certainly deserved the place on how she played. Both players had to remain in Sheffield for a the rest of the week t the England Talent Easter Camp Four St Austell players attended screening in Sheffield on Tuesday April 6th. This was a tough days where all the talented players in England of U17 and U19 age group competed for places in the Talent Squads.

The other two players - Abi Caple and Sarah Bonar both did exceptionally well, Sarah is to be invited back to a defence workshop as the selectors did not make a decision about circle defenders as they thought they thought those present needed more coaching and experience.

Abi played well but was a little nervous and did not show the same consistent shooting we normally see of her but she is still very young and will have opportunity to trial again in the future.
